Geneva: A great place to learn
After the global platform: stay a little longer
As a DRR practitioner or researcher, chances are that you will already be in Geneva this June: From June 2 - 6, the 8th session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction will be hosted by UNDRR and the Government of Switzerland (if you haven’t registered yet, you may do so now).
Use the weekend for post-conference recovery and enjoy Geneva, the lake, and the beautiful mountains.
The DRR Summer School 2025 will run from Monday to Wednesday (9-11 June), just across the road from where the GDPRR is held.
At the Varembé Conference Center (CCV), we have booked Room Lausanne. Coffee/tea and lunch will be served at the venue (and is included in the school fees).
